Tideborn Tactics

Tideborn Tactics is a compact strategy game played across tidal grids that shift between turns. The rising and falling water opens and closes routes, so a safe spot this turn can be a trap the next. It turns every map into a little timing puzzle.

Units are limited and each one matters, which keeps you thinking rather than swarming. Early maps ease you in, but the mid-game ramps up nicely and starts demanding real plans.

It's a slower game by mobile standards, and that's exactly why I liked it. It rewards patience and punishes careless moves, and the touch controls never got in my way.
