Casinacho Games: a week of quick taps
I didn't expect to stick with Casinacho Games past the first afternoon, but it ended up being my go-to filler app all week. It's a collection of short mini-games, and the trick is that none of them outstay their welcome. You tap in, play a round in under a minute, and bounce out.
The controls are the main reason it works. Everything is one thumb — taps and short swipes — with buttons big enough that you're not squinting. I played most of it standing on a tram, and it never demanded more attention than I could spare.
What kept me coming back was the variety. One tile is a reaction test, the next is a calm little matching puzzle, so it never feels like you're doing the same thing twice in a row. The art is bright and clean, and loading is genuinely fast.
If you want a deep, hours-long experience, this isn't it, and it doesn't pretend to be. But as something to dip into between other things, Casinacho Games is a tidy, honest little app. My advice: don't try to marathon it, use it the way it's built for.
After the week I kept it installed, which is more than I can say for most apps I test.
